It’s taco Tuesday and I’m a sucker for Mexican cuisine! Have you all been to El Toro in Hyde Park Plaza – such a hidden gem. Also love me some Mazunte. When we can’t go out, I make this go-to taco recipe. It would be perfect for Cinco De Mayo coming up! Whip out your slow cookers, or skillets and try this DELISH recipe! A huge hit!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb grass-fed ground beef
- 1 tbs paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 cup favorite salsa
- 1 tbs tomato paste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Corn tortillas
- Cheese
- Shredded lettuce
- Greek Yogurt
- Avocado
HOW TO MAKE
*You can also stick all of the ingredients (minus toppings) into a slow cooker with a little water*
- Brown ground beef in cast iron skillet (or any non-stick pan)
- Add in tomato paste and melt that into the meat
- Add in spices above until cooked into meat mixture
- Add in salsa
- Top with your favs! Mine are above
