It’s taco Tuesday and I’m a sucker for Mexican cuisine! Have you all been to El Toro in Hyde Park Plaza – such a hidden gem. Also love me some Mazunte. When we can’t go out, I make this go-to taco recipe. It would be perfect for Cinco De Mayo coming up! Whip out your slow cookers, or skillets and try this DELISH recipe! A huge hit!
 

 
INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb grass-fed ground beef
  • 1 tbs paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 cup favorite salsa
  • 1 tbs tomato paste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Corn tortillas
  • Cheese
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Greek Yogurt
  • Avocado

HOW TO MAKE
*You can also stick all of the ingredients (minus toppings) into a slow cooker with a little water*

  1. Brown ground beef in cast iron skillet (or any non-stick pan)
  2. Add in tomato paste and melt that into the meat
  3. Add in spices above until cooked into meat mixture
  4. Add in salsa
  5. Top with your favs! Mine are above
