Gratitude Jar | Hyde Park Moms
November and the Holidays should remind us to be grateful for all of the wonderful things we have in our lives. But it’s hard to do with all of the madness these next few months bring. Cookie parties, office parties, Holiday parties and any everything else leaves us feeling run down and depleted.
Enter the Gratitude Jar. I started a Gratitude Jar in our house after I was given the idea from my barre3 Mariemont studio owner, Karey. She read that if you practice gratitude for 21 days straight, you literally will chemically change your mind to think and ultimately feel more joyful.

What do I do with the Gratitude Jar?

  • Cut out pieces of paper and write down one thing you are grateful for that day. Everyone in the family can participate!
  • Put the paper into the jar and fill it up with your positive thoughts!
  • At the end of the month (or on Thanksgiving), take time to read some of the reasons your family is thankful.

I spruced up my jar to make it a special part of our day during the month of November.  I also decided to create a FREE printable for you! Click here to signup for the newsletter today to get your Gratitude Jar printable for the family – turn it into an afternoon craft!
