What’s your favorite thing about living in Hyde Park?
Our favorite thing is feeling like we still live in the city but also have a quaint neighborhood. We love to walk everywhere and have easy access to OTR and downtown!
Child(ren) and Age(s)?
Favorite things to do with your kids around town (can be outside of HP)?
We love to go to the farmers market, take long walks, ride scooters and bikes into the square and our new favorite spot is the turf playground at Hyde Park School.
Do you have a favorite local store, fitness class or restaurant and why?
YES!! A few of my favorite stores are Soho and Alligator Purse as well as Ossie – all the HP Square boutiques. Its something different than you usually find and I own the pieces forever!! One of my favorite restaraunts is Pleasantry, it has the best patio and the food and wine is AMAZING!! My favorite workout class is everything DEFINE!!! You feel amazing physically and mentally after!
Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!

How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
I would not have taken this journey without the community DEFINE has given my family. The clients, instructors, kids care and desk help are all amazing, and of course all our supporting friends and family. Community is everything and we will be forever grateful for what was built and we continue to build!
Tips for Balancing it all? Motherhood, career, family and social life?
This is a very difficult question for me because I have not mastered this at all. I do know that having an amazing support group (my friends and family) but most importantly a very patient and loving husband has made this transition a little easier. I think the most important thing I have learned is how much your family appreciates the time you are around so don’t take it for granted!! Our social life has slowed down but now we try to incorporate our kids as a part of it, although they are older now, its easier!! Last, get sleep and make sure you take some time for yourself!
What is the best advice you have received as a mom?
Do what works for you, it doesnt always work for other families or children!
Favorite toddler/kid product you’d recommend to other moms?
