Simple Valentine's Day Plans | Hyde Park Moms

Sometimes I feel like the kids just think of presents and gifts when it comes to Holidays without even having any clue about the Holiday. Valentine’s Day has taken on a whole new meaning for me since kids. I want them to feel LOVED. not just get a new Valentine’s toy they will forget about in 5 minutes. This year I’m doing something simple the week of V-Day and thought you’d like to join me and my family on spreading the love throughout your home.

Heart Notes

Super simple, each day they will wake up with a new heart on their door with a note from me about how much I love them and what I love about them. Then at breakfast, they will be able to write a few heart notes to each other, Mom & Dad or to themselves. I would love to see your heart notes this week! Make sure to tag @hydeparkmoms on Instagram so we can share the love together.

Heart-Shaped Waffles

I found this heart-shaped mini waffle maker at Bed Bath & Beyond, they were sold out at Target and not shipping until later on Amazon. Grab yours ASAP – it’s just a great price! Easy way to start the morning and make it festive. Add raspberries, jelly, pink and red sprinkles, whipped cream & strawberries or chocolate. Belly’s are fed and they are feeling the l-o-v-e.

What are your plans for Valentine’s Day?
